DELIVERIES POLICY

Gifting Across the Miles is pleased to offer delivery services for various types of orders including business, hospital, hotel, school, funeral & sympathy, and residential addresses. To ensure a successful delivery, we kindly request that customers provide the following information:

For Business Addresses:

  • Full name of the company
  • Complete and correct address of the company
  • Correct name of the recipient

For Hospital Addresses:

  • Full name of the recipient
  • Complete address of the hospital, including the ward name or room number
  • Note that most hospitals do not allow deliveries directly to the recipient’s ward/room

For Hotel Addresses:

  • Full address of the hotel
  • Telephone number
  • Recipient’s room number (if known)
  • Name of the tour company (if applicable)

For School Addresses:

  • Delivery will be made to the school office
  • Note that schools may sometimes refuse delivery

For Funeral & Sympathy Flowers:

  • Deceased name
  • Contact number & name of the person accepting delivery
  • Recommendation to place the order at least 2 working days prior to the required delivery date

For Residential Addresses:

  • A person needs to be home to accept delivery

Delivery is available Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8AM-4PM and Saturdays 8AM-1PM. For special requests for Sunday or public holiday deliveries, 1 week notice is required, and the cost of delivery may vary slightly. If the recipient is not at home during a delivery attempt, the delivery person will do the following:

  • Attempt to leave the package on the front porch if weather conditions permit, and follow up with a phone call to the recipient to ensure delivery
  • Find a neighbor to accept the gift
  • Leave a note on the door asking the recipient to call and schedule a new delivery time

We regret to inform that delivery services are not available to the following areas in Trinidad: Mayaro, Manzanilla, Toco, La Brea, Vessigny, Granville, Icacos, Guayaguayare, Galeota, Matelot, Fullarton, Los Iros, Cedros, and Cunaripo.
